Welcome! In 2019 I took over the Body Clinic to truly dedicate and explore my passion of assisting our clients to support and heal their bodies whether it be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual.
A little bit of background about myself, I am a certified and health fund registered Remedial Therapist, specialising in pregnancy, post natal and labour massage, as well as being a beauty therapist in my past life. Working in Day Spas as a beauty therapist is where I found my passion and drive to further study remedial and pregnancy massage to provide more support for my client’s physical bodies, ailments, stress levels and lifestyle.
“I am passionate about assisting to support and heal not only the physical body but mind and soul in order to truly create and maintain balance in the body.”
My philosophy has stemmed from many years of my own personal journey struggling with chronic pain and other women’s health conditions until I reached a point of exhaustion after 10 years of “pushing through”. I didn’t realise at the time, but I was so hard on my body with exercise, lifestyle choices, minimal pain management and rest for my mind and body. It was at that point I was advised to cease all exercise except gentle stretching and breathing techniques with help of medication due to the constant contraction of my muscles and the impact it was having on the rest of my body. This was a difficult transitional period but with the encouragement and support from my husband and multidisciplinary practitioners this was where I eventually found my love for yoga and was able to truly understand the benefits and importance of stillness, connection and kindness towards our bodies.
It was through my own journey that I began to notice how in this fast-paced world we are disconnecting and numbing ourselves from our bodies and ailments in order to push through our daily lives. Due to this, I have found many people view massage and other complimentary bodywork as a treat, only resorting to it when they have pushed themselves to exhaustion. Rather than making time for maintenance to rest, restore, and reconnect with their bodies as a preventative from stress and injury. This is why I believe it is important to provide education and support through each individual’s journey in order to sustain a happier, healthier life.

I have a passion for customer service and a genuine love for helping people. As an Empath I love working with people to help them achieve their goals. I was lucky enough to cross paths with Caity and my values could not have been any more aligned with her vision at the Body Clinic.
I have always been passionate about holistic wellness and the importance of viewing the “big picture”. We need to consider our physical, biological, and social position to understand lifestyle balance. I have never been happy to accept a band aid style treatment but will always look to find the root cause of an issue. I believe that nutrition and mindset are key to a proactive lifestyle vs treating reactively when problems surface.
“I love every day with our team of professional, highly motivated women, where we share the same passions for health and wellness. I love that our customers genuinely want our help and guidance”.
Having always had an interest in understanding the “why and how” around health (problem / solution), I completed my Diploma of Health Science in Naturopathy to help gain more knowledge from a holistic approach. The learning won’t stop there as I also plan to further my education in a Bachelor of Health Science in the near future. A wise woman once said, “no learning is ever wasted”.
